In the research results, the integration of urban and rural areas is treated as the research object, and the reorganization of external attracting resources and the internal space, and the construction of the networked and integrated global urban and rural areas are regarded as the development goal, so that the technologies such as the integrated planning of the urban and rural areas based on the OR spatial quantitative analysis and flow space theory are explored and applied

In the research results, the integration of urban and rural areas is treated as the research object, and the reorganization of external attracting resources and the internal space, and the construction of the networked and integrated global urban and rural areas are regarded as the development goal, so that the technologies such as the integrated planning of the urban and rural areas based on the OR spatial quantitative analysis and flow space theory are explored and applied, especially the Pearl River Delta region is deemed as a whole, and it is started from the analysis of urban and rural regional space development from guiding factors and restrictive factors, so that the production, ecology and living space can be coordinated. Through the construction of the flow network of six major regional strategic elements such as the public transportation network, Internet of Things, Green network, Blue network, public service network and public safety network, etc., the low carbonized and integrated urban agglomeration development pattern in the Pearl River Delta region can be constructed. The research won the second prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Guangdong Provincial Civil Construction Society in 2016.
